Wyland's Green Mission for Ocean Blue

Laguna’s preeminent marine artist raises environmental awareness with every artistic stroke.

Ideas seem to flow limitlessly from marine artist, Wyland. With a quick mind and enthusiastic energy fueled by a passion for his work, the 51-year-old Robert Wyland, who goes only by his last name, not only thinks on a grand scale, he turns ideas into full-scale reality. This July, he completed the final mural in his 27-year-long-project to paint 100 “whaling walls” around the world. He originally set aside 30 years to reach his goal, but “I came in three years and five minutes under schedule,” he jokes. Read More...
